Where’s Murph?

Jerryatric Manuel is clueless.
Hopefully I’m proven wrong, but the Mets have their best game in a week, and he totally changes the lineup around just because there’s a lefty on the mound (Randy Wolf). I’m most frustrated that Daniel Murphy isn’t playing today, as Manuel continues to screw with this kid’s confidence to get his man-crush (Fernando Tatis) into the lineup. Jerry, it’s not last year, Fernando simply isn’t much more than a righty off the bench these days. What’s worse, Tatis is 2-for-28 lifetime off Wolf so WTF? Murphy had two hits and made what could be the defensive play of the year with that awesome behind the back flip to Bobby Parnell (it never gets old watching that play). I’m tired of Manuel’s Lineup Roulette. I guess I could somewhat see it when the team wasn’t scoring runs, but they actually had a nice offensive game yesterday, with Murphy being a large part of it. I was joking with my wife last night that Murph would be benched becuase he’s always benched after a good game. Too bad I was right. Oh well, here’s the lineup for tonight’s rubber game against the Dodgers (Wolf vs. Hernandez).
Luis Castillo, 2B
Nick Evans, LF
David Wright, 3B
Gary Sheffield, LF
Fernando Tatis, 1B
Ryan Church, CF
Omir Santos, C
Alex Cora, SS
Livan Hernandez, SP
